Dr. Panagiotis Kitrou

Panagiotis M. Kitrou MD, MSc, PhD, EBIR is an assistant professor in interventional radiology at Patras University Hospital, Greece. His main scientific interests are Dialysis, Peripheral Arterial Disease, and Interventional Oncology. Dr. Kitrou is one of the leading physicians in endo AVF. He has published more than 50 scientific papers in peer-review journals and has been nominated for the Editor’s Award for Distinguished Clinical Study in Vascular and Interventional Radiology by JVIR in 2015 and 2017. He is a reviewer for more than 10 peer review journals and has been a Distinguished Reviewer for Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (CVIR) in 2017. He has presented more than 200 lectures and presentations in international scientific meetings, symposia and congresses. He has been a tutor for more than 40 international AV workshops at Patras University Hospital.

Dr. Robert Jones

Dr. Jones is an Interventional Radiologist working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust, where he is the lead for vascular access. Within the sphere of endovascular AV fistula creation using the WavelinQ™ EndoAVF System Dr Jones has some of the largest procedural knowledge outside of United States of America. Having been involved with the procedure when it was first presented as part of TVA Medical and subsequently since BD acquired the company, he is regrded as one of the fore most experts on AV fistula creation using the WavelinQ™ EndoAVF System and as such he regularly presents at local, national and international congresses on the subject. In the past we have asked Dr Jones to lecture / proctor hospitals on how to create and EndoAVF program as well as how to perform the procedure.
